Because on the browser side a different approach than on the Desktop side is chosen, Print Layouts
are kept in the different sections of the clients in the MAE Studio.
Browser Print Layouts
are based on HTML / CSS / JS.
Here are steps to follow to see your defined template in the browser application:
- Upload your HTML file in
Browser
→Print Layouts
- Add your Print Layout(s) to the
MapView
- Define a default one → not necessary when you just have one
- Start Browser Application
- Click on the icon in the menu
- A preview will open, where you can choose the
Print Layout
- Only applicable when having more than one
- Click
Print
to start the browser print dialog box - Click
Print
to print your template
MAE goes Container
Docker is a platform that allows developers to build, ship, and run applications in lightweight, portable containers. Containers bundle an application and its dependencies into a single package, ensuring consistent behavior across development, testing, and production environments. Docker provides tools to create, manage, and orchestrate these containers, making it easier to deploy and scale applications.
Windows Containers are a specific type of container designed to run on Windows systems. They work similarly to Linux containers but leverage Windows technologies to isolate and manage applications. Windows Containers can run natively on Windows Server or Windows 10/11, supporting .NET applications and other Windows-based workloads. They are essential for modernizing Windows applications and integrating them into containerized environments.
With this M.App Enterprise release we are happy to announce the support of Windows Container on Docker.
