How to use claims

In this tutorial you learn how to use claims in M.App Enterprise

You can create new claims at Security -> Claims. You then have to decide how you would like to set it up:

• per user - then simply check the box in front of the user name
  • every app, which is assigned to the user is getting the claims if fitting
• per application - then simply check the box in front of the application name.

Furthermore he has to decide what exactly should be limited within the application
First he can decide what the limitations should be:

• Layer visibility
• Access to workflows / actions within the application

Layer

You can limit / access your already created claims in the Legend view. As soon as you click on the on the right hand side the Claims section opens up. If a claim is used for the layer the fill of the symbol changes to with a lock symbol inside.

In this example, only the users specified in the claim can view the parcels, and only within the apps also specified by the claim. This can be changed in the claims settings.
